Travel Insurance for Mother’s Day?

Travel insurance may not be a typical gift for mother’s day, but hopefully most mums will be waking up to some flowers, chocolates, and maybe even breakfast in bed this Sunday.

Mother’s day has been around since 1908, where it started in America, and is now celebrated worldwide at different times of the year. Ireland shares the date with the UK and Nigeria! Interestingly, the spelling of the term also varies. Anna Jarvis, who began the tradition, always intended the term to be “a singular possessive”, for each family to honour their own mother (“Mother’s Day”), however “Mothers’ Day” and “Mothers Day” are also seen, each with their own meaning.

If you are fortunate to be heading away this weekend, or any time during the year, Paddy Compare will search the Irish travel insurance market, with one single form, to find you the best deal. So try Paddy Compare for all your insurance needs today!
