Dublin restaurant owners hit hard by water shortage!

Chaos across Dublin as the water shortage to local restaurants continues. With supplies restricted for 12 hours each night since Thursday, restaurant owners across the City are struggling to stay open. The Restaurants Association of Ireland’s Chief Executive, Adrian Cmmins, said that despite Dublin restaurants paying the highest water rates in Europe, the council have refused to answer telephone calls over the weekend. The shortage has been caused due to an algae problem and the freezing temperatures at a Treatment Plant in Co Wicklow over the last week.
